but it looks like the best chance will be south of us. west of us will get more clearing through the overnight. and it looks like a decent evening all and all. as far as the eastern shore. here is the forecast. we will see the temperatures at 84 degrees. winds out of the east at five to 10. for you folks in chestertown, denton, easton and cambridge. central portion of the state. temperatures doping out around 85. with easterly wind at five. 20 percent chance for a stray shower. pair he hall, annapolis, perry hall and westminster. decent. high pressure is building in. behind the front. as it continues to subside south. this high pressure will eliminate the chance for showers and thunderstorms as we get into the weekend. all the moisture will move down over parts of southern virginia. eastern portions of north carolina. and we will continue to see the moisture move out over the atlantic. and we will continue to enjoy the high pressure through the weekend. but it will bring warmer temperatures in toward sunday and monday. 85 degrees downtown

as we saw threatening clouds around us. but it looks like we are going to continue to see the chance for showers and thunderstorms off-and-on for the next couple of days. temperatures across the region. 83 degrees in new york. 74 harrisburg. 70 in pittsburg. slightly cooler northwest up around the great lakes. behind the frontal boundary bringing in a little cooler air. but not a big change. but we will see a break from the oppressive heat. which is good news. through the next several days. pop up showers and thunderstorms moving along the frontal boundary. but kind of, there is the remaining line, up there toward harrisburg. that will move down across the northeastern portion of the state. maybe cecil, harford county getting rumbles of thunder in the next hour or so. and closer look, we can see the showers and thunderstorms that stay north. but the temperatures right now 82 in baltimore. 83 in d.c. 75 in hagerstown. slightly cooler off to the west. mountains, out in oakland, nice and cool at 61. and there is the remaining
